Exclusive 2-Year Limited Warranty

We provide an Exclusive 2-Year Limited Warranty on all “Lumod” brand products purchased directly from our website. For products that are not “Lumod” brand, or for “Lumod” products purchased through other channels (e.g., Amazon, eBay), please contact us to determine the applicable warranty period for your specific item.


What Is Covered

If, within two years of the date your “Lumod” brand product ships from our warehouse, your product fails to function properly due to a manufacturer or parts defect, we will:

  1. Provide Replacement Parts: In many cases, we can send you the necessary parts to repair your product.
  2. Repair or Replace: If repairs cannot be completed with replacement parts, we may require you to send the product back to us for a more thorough repair. If the item cannot be repaired, we may opt to send you a new replacement or issue a full refund (if a replacement is unavailable), at our discretion.

Shipping Costs Under Warranty

  • Shipping to You: We will cover all shipping costs back to you after warranty work has been performed or if we decide to replace the item.
  • Shipping to Our Facility: You are responsible for covering the shipping cost to send the product to us for any warranty-related claim.

Alignment with Our Return Policy

  1. If You Prefer a Refund: If you choose to return a defective product for a refund instead of pursuing warranty repair or replacement, our standard Return & Exchange Policy applies. This includes any applicable restocking fees, and you remain responsible for return shipping costs.
  2. Condition & Packaging: As with all returns, items must be sent back in their original packaging. If you no longer have the original box, please contact us for alternative options.
  3. Used or Installed Items: Our return policy states that used or installed items are non-refundable. Warranty claims, however, are evaluated based on manufacturer defects or parts malfunction and do not automatically disqualify a product that has been installed for its intended use.

How to Initiate a Warranty Claim

To begin a warranty claim, please send an email to support@lumodlighting.com including:

  • Your order number
  • A detailed description of the issue
  • Photos or videos (if available) that demonstrate the problem

Once we receive your request, we will review the details and provide further instructions on how to proceed. Please do not send any product back to us without first receiving authorization and shipping instructions.
